I like the mint flavor and it does not foam up like regular toothpaste does with extended brushing. As far as working to reduce cavity I will not know until my next checkup in four months. I am in my 70s and my gums have reseeded a little so my dentist recommended this to protect the softer part of my teeth from possible cavities.
